Meet the band

Meet our bassist who has played in a brass band since she was 11 years old. As well as bass, she can play trombone, euphonium (like her sister Janette) and baritone. Hazel also played in the Royal Air Force Voluntary Band while serving as a Medic.

Martin began playing the drums and percussion in 1996 at the age of 11. His first band was Swinton Comprehensive Concert Band. He joined Thorpe Hesley Brass Band in 2001 and has been playing with them ever since. He has also played with Kingston Concert Band and Linthwaite Brass Band Read more…
